A Casa Somé table during dinner under warm lights

Private dinners in Costa Rica

The night begins
among strangers.

Food, wine and music around one table for people who want real conversation.

San JoséCosta Rica

Going out for dinner is easy.
Finding each other is something else.

Casa Somé brings together people with different stories who share Costa Rica. It is not networking. You do not need to arrive with someone. You do not need to be “good at socializing.”

We bring the food, wine, music and a few questions. You only need to bring your curiosity. The table does the rest.

Honest
questions.

If you are still wondering about something, write to us. We like to talk before we sit down together.

How do I receive an invitation?

Start by applying to the waitlist. We form each Mesa in this order: Founder’s Club members first, then people on the waitlist, followed by enquiries received through WhatsApp or Instagram. Inbound enquiries must answer a few qualification questions before being considered.

Can I come on my own?

Yes. Many guests arrive alone. Casa Somé is designed for walking in without knowing anyone, and we guide the beginning so you never have to break the ice by yourself.

What is included?

A multi-course dinner, wine throughout the evening, music and a shared table with a small group of guests. No menu is repeated: each Mesa changes with the season, the ingredients and the story we want to tell.

How long does dinner last?

The experience usually lasts three to four hours. There is no rush to leave when dinner ends: if the conversation continues, so does the table.

Can I request an invitation for two?

Yes. Tell us if you would like to attend with someone when you request access. You are equally welcome to come by yourself; you do not need to form a group.

Where are the dinners held?

In San José and other corners of Costa Rica. The exact location is shared privately with each confirmed table.

When is my seat confirmed?

Requesting access does not reserve a seat. If you receive an official invitation, it will include the date, price and reservation window. Your place is confirmed only after payment is completed.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Tell us about any restriction or allergy before reserving. We review each case carefully and confirm whether we can host you safely before you complete payment.

Do I need to be very social?

No. This is not networking and it is not a night for impressing anyone. We offer a few questions and hold the rhythm; you only need to arrive curious.
